 Total rewards can be described as an exchange of payment from 

an employer for the services provided by an employee. Total 

rewards comprises of two types of rewards package i.e.

Financial Rewards and Non financial Rewards. Benefits are also 

included in total rewards.

Total Rewards are the extremely important component of human 

resource management.
