HRM means long term HR process that is in alignment of overall business process. 

Basically strategic process is broken down into two phases

1. Strategy Formulation

2. Strategy Implementation

HRM facilitates strategy formulation by making SWOT analysis and policy implementation

by providing competent human resources and competitive intelligence
